Socket.dev seeks a Plant Controller to partner with the Plant Manager and leadership, owning plant-level financial performance and all accounting functions for the facility. You will drive KPI reporting, manage AP/invoicing/AR, and ensure accurate financial statements.
The role requires 3–7 years in accounting/finance within a manufacturing environment, strong Excel/ERP skills, and a detail-oriented, proactive approach. This on-site position offers growth and process-improvement opportunities.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Plant Controller is the financial partner to the Plant Manager and facility leadership team. This role owns plant-level financial performance — connecting day-to-day operational activity to financial results — and manages all accounting functions for the facility including AP, invoicing, supplier settlements, and month-end close.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
3–7 years of accounting, finance, cost accounting, or manufacturing operations
Manufacturing, metals, recycling, foundry, or industrial environment
Strong Excel, ERP, and reporting systems; cost accounting and inventory transactions are a plus
COMPETENCIES:
Self-starter that takes initiative with a high attention to detail
Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.

Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs
Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Involves sitting most of the time.
Visual Acuity: ability to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.
