Key Responsibilities

• Accounting and Financial Management:

  Lead all plant accounting functions including cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

  Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, forecasts, and strategic plans in alignment with corporate standards.

  Ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and integrity in accordance with GAAP.

• Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Finance:

  Develop and maintain standard costs, bills of materials, and inventory valuation.

  Analyze labor, material, overhead, and production variances within a manufacturing environment.

  Monitor manufacturing performance through plant walkthroughs and operational collaboration.

• Inventory and Controls:

  Oversee physical inventory processes, cycle counts, and monthly reconciliations.

  Identify and manage excess and obsolete inventory.

  Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls and safeguard company assets.

• Operational Partnership:

  Partner with plant team to improve manufacturing efficiency and cost performance.

  Participate in production meetings and provide financial insights to support decision‑making.

  Support continuous improvement initiatives related to operational and financial performance.

• Team Leadership:

  Oversee and develop front office and accounting staff.

  Drive accountability, accuracy, and process improvement across plant financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing finance principles.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or similar platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and analyze complex spreadsheets.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
