Baywater is hiring for the position of Plant Contract Operator for our operations in Bloomfield, NM.

Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor and control the amine and glycol processing units to ensure optimal performance and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Operate and maintain water treatment systems to ensure water quality meets required standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment and systems.
• Respond to system or equipment emergencies, applying rapid problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and risks.
• Record operational data and maintain logs for all shift activities, system performance, and maintenance work.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless plant operations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience in industrial operations, particularly in petrochemical, oil and gas, or related fields.
• Familiarity with amine and glycol systems, water treatment processes and gas fired heaters is highly advantageous.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly under pressure.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
