Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services in Louisiana is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness of the plant and support daily operations. You will perform routine janitorial tasks in production areas, assist with loading, unloading, and cart washing, and help keep restrooms and break rooms clean and orderly.

The role requires a reliable, detail-oriented individual willing to follow a cleaning schedule and perform duties as assigned by Plant Management to ensure a safe, sanitary work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential functions of the job, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic daily janitorial tasks as directed.
• Ensure floors swept in aisles and under machinery.
• Empty all trash receptacles.
• Blow down plant as requested for lint.
• Move/relocate items as needed by Plant Manager or Supervisors.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Assist with cart washing.
• Assist with cleaning tools as requested.
• Ensure that rest rooms are cleaned daily in accordance with company standards; toilets scrubbed inside and out, sinks and mirrors cleaned, walls wiped, baseboards scrubbed.
• Break room kept free of trash and tables wiped.
• Parking lot kept trash-free; fence line maintained.
• Follow a detailed cleaning schedule.
• Any other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
