Job summary

CARAVAN FACILITIES MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking an Industrial Cleaner for on-site work in Bowling Green, KY. The role supports the Operations department, reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, and focuses on keeping plant areas clean and orderly, including shops, warehouses, washrooms, offices, cafeterias and break rooms.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, removing spills and garbage, limited outdoor duties, and operating industrial cleaning equipment and trucks.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Clean all plant areas including, but not limited to, the shop floor, the warehouse floor, docks, washrooms, offices, break rooms, meeting areas, cafeteria and locker rooms.
• Restock washrooms, break rooms and cafeterias.
• Clean spills and remove garbage.
• Limited outside trash pickup, minor salt and snow removal near doorways, and other minor outdoor duties.
• Industrial truck driving, including but not limited to, sweeper scrubbers, tote vehicles, burden carriers and forklifts.
• Special cleaning projects as required by the customer or assigned by the Company.
