Job summary

Aspen Aerogels, Inc. in East Providence, RI is seeking a Process Engineer for Plant Chemistry to drive process excellence, support scale-up of new products, and optimize existing manufacturing methods.

You will partner with Manufacturing, R&D and Plant Engineering to lead productivity projects, troubleshoot plant chemistries, and mentor teams while upholding our safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing (process engineering, product line engineering, technology evaluation and deployment, unit operation).
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Engineering; Master's preferred; commensurate experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Manufacturing, R&D and Plant Engineering to identify and execute plant productivity projects.
• Monitor plant chemistries and coordinate adjustments for optimal conditions.
• Lead/ support scale-up of new products and processes from lab to pilot to full production.
