Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, Plant Science, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or related field; 3 years experience preferred.
• Experience with monocot/dicot plant tissue culture or plant transformation preferred.
• Experience with aseptic techniques in laminar flow and biosafety hoods preferred.
• Proficiency in data capture and word processing; PowerPoint skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize cell biology and bioengineering methods; improve processes.
• Collaborate with scientists to execute experiments and record data.
• Initiate and maintain in vitro plant cultures in high-throughput settings.
• Maintain clean lab spaces and detailed records.
• Operate high-throughput cell biology lab equipment.
