Job summary

Ambius is seeking Plant Care Specialists to visit customer sites in Des Plaines, IL, and surrounding areas. You will groom, water, prune, and fertilize plants, protect interiors from moisture, and assist with installations and seasonal displays.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed. Plant-care experience is preferred, with training provided on site.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for plants is preferred
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills to follow product label instructions
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations
• Customer-facing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Groom, rotate, water, prune and fertilize plants per needs
• Keep plants and containers clean; prevent moisture damage
• Prevent plant pests and diseases
• Maintain top dressing and ornamental elements
• Identify additional Ambius product needs to grow the business
• Assist on plantscape installations and seasonal decorating
• Maintain scenting and air purification equipment as needed
• Communicate effectively with customers and team
• Drive a service vehicle in various areas
• Climb ladders safely and use pruning tools
