Job summary

Ambius is hiring a Plant Care Specialist to visit customer sites daily and provide expert plant care, including grooming, watering, pruning, and fertilizing as needed. You will prevent damage to surroundings and ensure healthy displays.

The role requires plant-care experience, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work Monday through Friday plus Saturdays as needed. Strong communication and math skills are essential for following care instructions and labeling.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for plants is preferred
• High school diploma or GED; related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills — follow instructions for mixing on product labels
• Licenses/certificates as required
• Customer-facing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites daily to care for plants; groom, rotate, water, prune and fertilize as needed
• Maintain plant displays; ensure cleanliness and moisture balance
• Prevent disease and pest issues; keep top dressing and ornaments appealing
• Identify additional Ambius product needs and communicate opportunities
• Assist on plantscape installations and holiday decoration projects
• Maintain scenting and air purification equipment as required
• Demonstrate solid communication and problem-solving skills
• Regularly operate a service van/truck and ascend/descend ladders
