Job summary

Ambius in Nashville is seeking a Plant Care Specialist to visit client sites daily and provide exceptional plant care, including grooming, watering, pruning, soil moisture checks with a soil probe, and fertilizing as needed to keep displays vibrant.

You will safely operate a service van, climb ladders, and communicate plant needs and maintenance requests. A high school diploma or GED is required; a valid driver’s license and plant-care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Experience caring for plants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites daily to groom, water, prune, and fertilize plants.
• Gauge soil moisture using a soil probe and adjust care as needed.
• Prevent water and moisture damage to floors and surroundings.

Providing ultimate plant care while preventing damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. from water and/or moisture.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Interior plant setupExercise trained techniques to apply and maintain appropriate amounts of water per lighting conditions and plant requirementsEnsure plants as well as display containers are clean and free of dust and debrisKeep all plants free from diseases and insectsMaintain appearance of top dressing and other ornamental elementsRecognize and communicate additional Ambius product needs to grow the businessAssist on a variety of plantscape installations including interior or exterior container gardens, wall-mounted systems, commercial plantscapes, and moreAssist on holiday decoration installations decorating the interior and exterior of buildings with a team as well as removal of holiday decorations as needed at the end of the seasonSolid communication and critical problem solving skillsRegularly drive a service van/truck in urban and rural settingsAble to safely climb ladders and work on laddersExperience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objectsWhat do you need?Experience caring for plants is preferredHigh school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust possess a valid driver's license from state of residenceAvailable to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as neededSolid reading, writing, and verbal communication skillsBasic math skills —You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labelsLicenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)Customer-facing experience preferred#ZipRTX#RTX200Why Choose Us?A career with the Rentokil family of companies can be a professional trajectory filled with opportunity.
