Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our plant engineering team. You will develop layouts, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, piping, structural, electrical, fabrication, and installation packages, producing print plots and converting drawing sets to PDF.

With a 2-year CAD/Drafting degree and 8–12 years of drafting/design experience, you will take precise field measurements in a chemical plant environment, perform beam calculations, and ensure OSHA-compliant designs while

Qualifications

2-year CAD/Drafting degree or equivalent experience.
8–12 years of industry drafting/design experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and strong command of CAD tools; expert in blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

Develop drawings and documentation: layouts, P&ID’s, process flow diagrams, piping, structural, electrical, fabrication, and installation packages.
Produce print plots, copy prints, and convert drawing sets to PDF; take precise field measurements to validate designs.
Perform beam calculations and deck design; ensure OSHA considerations for construction elements.
Evaluate vendor equipment drawings; build material lists, solicit quotes, create purchase requisitions, and track materials.
Archive prints and material lists; support GTP/SEA initiatives with graphic art and maintenance drawings.
