Job summary

Danone North America in Louisville, CO, is hiring a Food Scientist II to join our Research & Innovation team. You will translate R&I strategy into product design, lead bench, pilot, and plant trials, and develop formulas and specs for dairy and plant-based products.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, supplier partnerships, consumer tests, and documentation. A degree in Food Science or related field with 4+ years of experience is preferred, with hybrid work and a strong benefits

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering or closely related field preferred.
• Masters preferred for advanced roles.
• 4+ years of experience in product development in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Support plant-based yogurt initiatives with understanding of R&I strategy and category business strategy.
• Translate new business dynamics to product design.
• Lead product productivity, renovation, and innovation programs, including complex high-visibility projects.
• Plan and execute bench, pilot, and plant trials; analyze results; derive next steps.
