Job summary

Adient US LLC is seeking a Robotics & Electronics Technician for its West Point facility. This specialized role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing robotic and automated systems. Applicants should have at least 5 years of industrial automation experience and proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC programming.

The technician will work independently, partnering cross-functionally with Engineering and Maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support plant performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or advanced electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex automation and control systems in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical, robotic, and automated system failures.
• Develop, modify, and optimize PLC programs using Allen‑Bradley (Studio 5000) and related platforms.
• Maintain and support robotic systems (FANUC preferred), AGVs, and advanced automation equipment.
• Partner with Engineering and Maintenance teams on equipment upgrades, installations, and system improvements.
