Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Plant A Analyzer Technician in Freeport, TX. You will provide specialized technical support for projects, operations and maintenance, applying Most Effective Technology and industry best practices within the instrumentation discipline.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, calibrating analytical systems, ensuring safety in design, and following ODMS procedures. Candidates should have 2+ years in instrumentation/electrical tech or an associate degree, plus a TWIC

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; further technical education encouraged.
2+ years of Instrumentation & Electrical Technician experience, or an Associate degree or higher in Instrumentation; or 3+ years of relevant military experience.
Experience in and understanding of maintenance work flow across crafts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Valid US driver's license required.
TWIC card or eligibility to obtain TWIC card.
Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

Maintains inspection and maintenance records in the electronic system.
Ensures inspections are completed on time and drawings/specifications are followed by fabricators and maintenance contractors.
Ensures safety in design.
Performs calibration and preventive maintenance of analytical systems.
Evaluates data validity, interprets results, and takes appropriate action.
Follows EH&S and ODMS procedures for work tasks.
