Novolex, Where Packaging Innovation Meets Career Opportunity! We are looking for you!!! Compensation: $24.00 to $26.00 an hour - paid weekly Shifts Available: Monday-Friday- 8:00AM-5:00PM Summary:

The Operations Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks within our manufacturing environment. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

Operations
  • Assist with the creation, organization, and maintenance of production-related documentation, including reports, schedules, and inventory records.
  • Coordinate communication between departments by answering phones, responding to emails, and relaying messages accurately and promptly.
  • Manage data entry tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Support inventory management by updating records, tracking shipments, and assisting with stock checks.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and implement improvements where necessary
Human Resources
  • Assist with the full recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and processing background checks.
  • Collaborate with HR Manager and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements for each position.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding activities, including communication with employees, preparing necessary paperwork, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain employee files and documentation
  • Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Respond to routine employee questions regarding policies and procedures.
General
  • Provide administrative support to management as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and organizing materials.
  • Uphold confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information and documents.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate efficient workflow and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned to support the overall success of the facility.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in administrative support is a plus
  • 2+ years’ experience in a full-time administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
  • Previous experience in human resources is strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/Physical Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or human resources environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges as they arise.
