Job summary

CF Industries is seeking a Finance & Accounting professional to handle journal entries for Product Costing and support the monthly close, with emphasis on compliance and reporting. The role includes preparing key performance reports, property tax duties, and maintaining SOX documentation.

The incumbent will manage Natural Gas, Electricity, and Catalyst reporting, track capital projects, assist in audits and budgets, and coordinate with other departments, reporting to the Accounting Manager and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a plant manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• CPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle journal entries for Product Costing to complete the monthly financial close.
• Prepare month-end financial statement analysis, KPI reports, and property tax reports/payments.
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and controls.
• Manage Natural Gas, Electricity, and Catalyst reporting.
• Track capital projects and related expenditures.
• Assist in audits, budget preparation, and quarterly updates.
• Prepare other requested reports and analyses.
• Coordinate with other departments and supervise staff (Accountant and Sr. Accountant).
