Job summary

Greenworks Tools in Morristown, TN is seeking a Plant Accountant to serve as the on-site finance partner for our manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes cost analysis, budgeting support, and financial reporting to boost operational performance.

You will monitor manufacturing costs, analyze variances, maintain fixed assets, and ensure internal controls while partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Corporate Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting, manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or plant accounting experience.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
• ERP system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor factory spending and analyze budget and forecast performance.
• Prepare variance analyses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, labor expenses, inventory transactions, and variances.
• Develop and maintain plant KPIs and performance reports.
