Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 1-2 years of accounting experience, with manufacturing exposure and ERP familiarity (Dynamics 365) preferred. This on-site role supports plant leadership and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems; MS Dynamics 365 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review monthly journal entries ensuring proper documentation.
• Prepare account analyses, including balance sheet and P&L results, with a focus on automating and improving cash reconciliation process.
• Review and analyze the organization's processes and procedures and identify and recommend improvements.
• Maintain fixed asset and related depreciation schedules.
• Assist with analysis and preparation of monthly financial statements for timely distribution to management.
• Assist with external audits.
• Assist with special projects as requested, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Reporting to the Controller, the Staff Accountant is a key member of the accounting team and a partner to the plant leadership. The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks with a focus on GL account reconciliations and account analysis. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, analyze, and review monthly journal entries ensuring proper documentation.
• Prepare account analyses, including balance sheet and PL results, with a focus on automating and improvingcashreconciliation process.
• Review and analyze the organization's processes and procedures and identify and recommend improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
