Job summary

SuperbTech is seeking a Plant 3D Drafter / Project Coordinator to support a leading utility client in Downtown Los Angeles. This hybrid role is roughly 50% drafting and 50% project coordination, handling drawing updates, document management, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of drafting experience with Autodesk Plant 3D, plus experience on pipeline or utility projects, strong organization, and excellent communication to manage multiple requests through

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of professional drafting experience.
• Hands-on Autodesk Plant 3D expertise.
• Experience in pipeline, natural gas, oil & gas, utilities or industrial facility projects.
• Ability to update Plant 3D models and drawings.
• Strong organizational and document management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Update and revise piping layouts, Plant 3D models and drawings.
• Process engineering revisions per drafting standards.
• Review P&IDs and markups to apply changes.
• Maintain drawing revisions and engineering records.
• Perform quality reviews for drawing accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate incoming engineering and drafting requests.
• Review requests for completeness and obtain missing information from stakeholders.
• Track multiple work requests from intake through completion.
• Prepare engineering packages and supporting documentation.
• Maintain document control using company systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, design and project teams to support schedules and deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders while managing priorities.
