Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Active Florida Building Plans Examiner license or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CAD software and plan review tools.
• Ability to read and write, including technical documentation.
• Detail-oriented with solid analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine building plans to ensure compliance with codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
• Identify discrepancies and work with applicants to address them.
• Prepare written reports with findings and recommended revisions.
• Communicate with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners on code issues.
