Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Mentor, OH is seeking an entry level Stocking Clerk to provide friendly service and maintain well-stocked shelves across grocery and product areas.

You will stock products, move items from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and keep the back-room clean while collaborating with store leadership. Overnight shifts help prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Entry level role exposed to retail tasks including product handling and customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
