Job summary

Meijer is looking for a Stocking Clerk in Michigan to keep shelves stocked and provide excellent customer service. You will learn store processes, assist with merchandising, and contribute to a well-organized, welcoming shopping area.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• You're comfortable learning and using basic technology

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus

• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
