Job summary

Acosta is seeking a dedicated merchandiser/programmer to join the team in Bowling Green, KY. The role focuses on creating planograms (POGs) for resets used in stores, requiring strong Excel skills and merchandising experience.

Position is hourly, in‑office, four days per week, with various data‑driven responsibilities. Candidate should have 2+ years of merchandising experience or an Associate’s degree, plus proficiency with Excel and data analysis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry‑level experience (reset/merchandising) or an Associate’s degree.
• Proficient in Excel (for data analysis), Word, and PowerPoint.
• Identify and leverage relevant data to diagnose situations and identify potential solutions.
• Conduct data mining utilizing CPG math concepts and tools effectively and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide space management and section merchandising on assigned categories and customers, including analysis of financial data and space‑related insights at account and market levels.
• Develop and maintain client‑specific reporting that measures performance against strategies and objectives.
• Develop planograms that meet Customer’s and Client’s visual standards while increasing space for brands based on sales performance.
• Data management – collect, organize, store, and maintain data for accuracy and security.
• Ensure data source quality and deliverables accuracy, collaborating with BI associates and data/tool vendors.
• Perform user‑acceptance testing for space‑management tools.
