Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk to deliver remarkable customer service with product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude. This entry‑level role involves retail tasks in product, customer service and merchandising.

The role requires stocking, back-room organization, overnight shifts, teamwork, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment to ensure shelves are ready for customers.

Qualifications

• This entry level position requires the ability to learn and use basic technology.
• Follow established processes and procedures in a structured, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately

• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job’s location.

$15.00 - $16.50
