Responsibilities

As an Order Taker/Runner, you'll play a key role in the overall guest experience by providing positive and memorable service, taking guest orders, preparing drinks, delivering food, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area and patio. Once eligible, you'll become an Owner in the company, so we're looking for commitment, hard work, and a focus on quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant Point of Sale (POS) systems (NCR, Aloha, Nirvana, etc.)
• Advanced customer service and communication skills
• Minimum age 18
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Completion of Alcohol Seller Training / Cash Handling training upon hire

Work Details

• Builds strong relationships with customers
• Takes orders and assists with menu/beverage selections, including alcoholic beverages
• Provides detailed menu information, serves food and drinks, processes transactions
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet guest needs
• Addresses complaints and resolves issues effectively
• Ensures compliance with TABC regulations and sanitation standards
• Buses/cleans tables, maintains sanitation in food and beverage areas

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, exposure to wet/cold conditions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, extended hours, and rotating schedules
