WHSmith North America has an exciting opportunity for a Planning Transformation Facilitator to join our team in Las Vegas, NV!

The Planning Transformation Facilitator

is a mobile, field-focused role responsible for driving adoption of new planning technology across retail, distribution, and operations sites throughout the U.S. and Canada. Serving as the link between deployment teams and end users, this individual delivers hands-on training, supports change readiness, and helps integrate planning tools into daily operations.

This role requires a self-motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, adapts quickly to different site cultures, and is comfortable spending the majority of their time on-site. The ideal candidate can work independently with minimal supervision while representing the transformation program professionally and consistently.

WhatYou’llDO

Technology Rollout & On-Site Training

• Deliver structured, role-based training sessions for new planning systems/tools to site managers and operational staff.
• Lead go-live support activities at each site, providing real-time guidance during system cutover and hyper care periods.
• Adapt training materials and delivery approach to suit varying audience skill levels, from frontline associates to senior leaders.
• Conduct pre-go-live readiness assessments and post-go-live follow-up visits to reinforce adoption.

Change Enablement & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build trust and rapport with site leadership to champion the planning transformation initiatives at the local level.
• Identify resistance, skills gaps, or process misalignments and elevate with recommended solutions.
• Partner with site managers to embed new planning behaviors into existing operational routines.
• Serve as the on-site voice of the transformation program, gathering feedback to inform continuous improvement.

Training Design & Content Management

• Collaborate with the operations training team to customize content for site-specific workflows and regional nuances.
• Maintain and update training materials, job aids, quick reference guides, and e-learning modules as the system evolves.
• Develop and document site-specific training logs, attendance records, and competency assessments.
• Contribute lessons learned and best practices back into the master training curriculum.

Reporting & Program Coordination

• Submit weekly field reports detailing training completion rates, adoption metrics, open issues, and site readiness status.
• Coordinate site visit schedules in alignment with rollout phasing, working closely with project managers and regional leaders.
• Track and report individual and site-level training KPIs against programming milestones.
• Participate in virtual team stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning sessions when not on-site.

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated experience delivering in-person instruction or facilitation to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with software platforms (e.g., Excel, Word, SmarterU, Aptos.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into plain language.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent site engagements and prioritize effectively under pressure.
• Valid driver's license and passport; ability to travel freely throughout the USA and Canada.
• Comfort working independently in unfamiliar environments with limited on-site infrastructure support.
• Experience supporting large-scale ERP or planning technology rollouts across multi-site environments.
