Qualifications

• Skills required to perform the job include adhering to safety practices, operating standard office equipment including computers and software, and preparing and maintaining accurate records.
• Knowledge of basic math, reading manuals, and following instructions.
• Ability to communicate with diverse groups and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom materials to support classroom objectives.
• Confers with teachers to assist student progress and implement objectives.
• Evaluates students to determine need for further assessment.
• Implements instructional programs and lesson plans to improve academic success.
• Maintains classroom equipment and student records for reliable information.
• Monitors students to provide a safe learning environment.
• Responds to emergencies and inquiries as needed.
