Qualifications

• Ability: communicate with diverse groups, maintain confidentiality, attend regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher to improve students' academic success when behavior impedes learning.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student academic and behavioral success.
• Document student behavior issues for determining need for further assessment and instruction.
• Monitor students to provide a safe, positive learning environment.
• Proctor tests to assist teachers in evaluating progress.
• Provide supplemental instructional services to individuals or small groups.
• Respond to emergencies to resolve safety concerns.
