Job summary

Santa Fe County seeks a senior planning professional to lead a range of planning projects under the Planning Manager. This role oversees the team, formulates strategies, ordinances, agreements, legislation, programs and policies, and ensures high-quality deliverables.

You will supervise staff, provide training, review work, and guide performance evaluations while driving best practices and coordinating with other departments.

Primary Purpose Under general supervision of the Planning Manager. This is a senior level planning position which is responsible for taking the lead on a variety of planning projects and overseeing the team in work that includes formulating and implementing strategies, ordinances, agreements, legislation, programs and policies.
