Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Demand Planner, including establishing priorities, workloads, and performance expectations.
• Develop and maintain rolling finished goods demand forecasts by style, category, channel, and season.
• Partner with Sales, Distribution, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Finance to maintain accurate demand visibility and planning alignment.
• Monitor forecast performance, identify trends and risks, and recommend forecast adjustments based on business conditions and seasonality.
• Prepare and deliver the monthly Demand Management Review (DMR), including forecast, inventory, service, and demand performance.
• Maintain planning metrics and reporting to support management decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain rolling inventory projections based on forecasted demand, current inventory, inbound supply, and replenishment assumptions.
• Identify projected shortages, excess inventory, service‑level risks, and significant variances from plan; recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Develop time‑phased purchase and production recommendations based on demand forecasts, inventory requirements, lead times, safety stock, and seasonal objectives.
• Review buy recommendations with the SVP Operations for approval and, once approved, release and communicate buy plans to Manufacturing and Sourcing.
• Monitor inventory positions, forecast changes, and open supply commitments and recommend adjustments to buy plans as business conditions change.
• Provide Manufacturing and Sourcing with forward‑looking demand forecasts and prioritized supply requirements to support production, procurement, and material planning.
• Support the S&OP process through forecasting, inventory planning, scenario analysis, reporting, and maintenance of planning assumptions and key performance indicators.
• Communicate significant changes in demand, inventory, or supply requirements to appropriate stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, reporting, and overall planning
