Job summary

Colonial Staffing Group Inc. is seeking a Planning Manager with a defense, aerospace, or complex manufacturing background to lead our planning function.

You will own material planning, production planning and master scheduling, aligning supply with demand across programs and production lines. The role requires a strong track record in driving inventory optimization, executing material requirements, purchase requisitions, shop order execution, and improving planning processes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Active Secret Clearance (or eligible).
• 5+ years of planning, supply chain or related manufacturing experience.
• Leadership experience managing planners, schedulers or related teams.
• Strong defense, aerospace or complex manufacturing background.
• DoD, ITAR, EAR, FAR and DFARS experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead material planning, production planning and master scheduling.
• Oversee material requirements, purchase requisitions and shop order execution.
• Optimize inventory, material availability, production schedules and customer delivery.
• Drive planning processes, performance metrics and operational improvements.
• Support NPI, make/buy decisions, production capacity and obsolescence planning.
• Lead and develop the planning organization.
