The City of Jordan, Minnesota, is seeking a Planning Intern to support the Planning Department. Under the supervision of the City Planner, you will assist with technical planning and zoning tasks, prepare reports, and help maintain records.

You will gain experience in permit processing, rental licensing, landscaping escrow, zoning reviews, and grant writing while contributing to minutes and reports for city council meetings.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be pursuing a degree in urban planning or a related field.
• Interest in land use planning, zoning, and reports.
