Job summary

Xylem in Holland, Michigan is seeking a Planning & Intercompany Operations Specialist to connect customer demand, engineering changes, manufacturing execution, and intercompany orders within our engineered-to-order business.

You will coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, and Finance to ensure on-time delivery, accurate ECO processing, and data integrity across ERP systems. A degree and 3+ years in planning and ERP/MRP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, supply chain, or order management.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems; SAP or similar.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate demand and project milestones into actionable production and supply plans, coordinating with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management.
• Develop and manage production schedules balancing project priorities, material availability, and capacity; maintain manufacturing orders for engineered-to-order products; monitor progress and address delays.
• Coordinate engineering change orders (ECO) processing and updates within ERP systems; manage product costing, pricing, configuration, and scheduling impacts.
• Ensure availability of materials, manage shortages, and maintain inventory strategies; collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Act as a key coordinator between Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and customer-facing teams; participate in SIOP/S&OP and capacity discussions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements; support ERP enhancements and best-practice implementations.
