As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-driven individual to support project development, team organization, material acquisition, and constraint management. Optimize current production processes utilizing the Maintenance Operating System.

In this role…

This role leads and coaches skilled trades and maintenance personnel across all aspects of asset management, including asset availability (Mean Time to Repair, Mean Time Between Failure), cycle time optimization, preventative maintenance, and predictive and condition-based monitoring technologies.

What You'll Do…
  • Ensure preventative maintenance activities are value-added and focused on driving permanent corrective actions.
  • Support New Model Launch activities as required.
  • Lead and coach teams in leveraging new and existing machine-monitoring tools to identify system constraints and systematically reduce and eliminate interruptions in production flow.
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union representatives, and management teams.
  • Develop and lead projects from initiation through completion.
You'll have…
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
Even Better You’ll Have…
  • Project management skills
  • 2+ years of experience in a project management role
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Constraint management experience
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently with limited supervision

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder…or all the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work-life that works for you, including:

  • Immediate medical, dental, and prescription drug coverage
  • Flexible family care, parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up childcare and more
  • Vehicle discount program for employees and family members, and management leases
  • Tuition assistance
  • Established and active employee resource groups
  • Paid time off for individual and team community service
  • A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year's Day
  • Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.
