The Planning Engineer is a full-time, on-site position located in Fredericktown, MO. This role is responsible for planning and designing electric distribution system improvements, including load studies, system analyses, and long-range infrastructure plans. The Planning Engineer collaborates with operations, engineering, and field teams to develop construction work plans, coordinate project schedules, and support production planning to meet member needs. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, analyzing data to identify capacity or reliability issues, and recommending upgrades or modifications. The role also involves maintaining project documentation, supporting project control activities, assisting with budgeting and cost estimates, and communicating project status and technical information to internal stakeholders and management.
