American Planning Association - Kentucky Chapter seeks a Chief Planning Official for the Danville-Boyle County Planning and Zoning Commission. Chief planning official and code official for the Danville-Boyle County Planning and Zoning Commission with a total county population of approximately 28,000 including 16,000 city residents of Danville, the county seat, and located approximately 30 miles south of Lexington, KY.
Planning Director administers planning processes and directs enforcement of zoning codes and subdivision regulations. Bachelor’s degree in planning, public administration, landscape architecture or a related field with 3-5 years of job related experience and AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) preferred.
The job is currently 32 hours per week, benefits package, Kentucky Retirement System.
