Job summary

Qualifications

  • Two years of college including coursework in business administration, public administration, planning, records management; or related field.
  • 1 year of experience in planning and development services or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with zoning and development processes and public records requests.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize duties and process applications within legal timelines.
  • Receive addressing applications and review for completeness.
  • Read legal descriptions and interpret maps/GIS data to create addresses.
  • Maintain filing system for meeting records, maps and plans.
  • Prepare reports, Open Records Requests, and meeting materials for commissions and council.
  • Attend meetings and transcribe minutes when required.
