Job summary

Tulsa County is seeking an organized Administrative Assistant to support the Planning Department. You will handle routing visitors, answer calls, schedule meetings, prepare reports and correspondence, and assist with board transmittals and notices for land use cases.

The role requires strong MS Word/Excel/Access skills, high school diploma with relevant coursework, and reliable clerical experience. This full-time position offers hourly pay and a professional county environment with growth

Qualifications

  • Ability to receive visitors, handle inquiries, and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Receive visitors, answer calls, coordinate appointments and meetings.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, contracts, and materials for the department.
  • Process notices for land use cases and board transmittals for BOCC approvals.
  • Encumber purchases, process invoices, and assist with basic bookkeeping.
