Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Senior Load Forecast Analyst on annual member cooperative load forecasts.
• Coordinate between Load Forecasting, Transmission Planning, and engineering staff for delivery point forecasts.
• Maintain the Prospective Load Forecast with Member Services and Transmission Planning.
• Convert annual load forecasts into billing determinant forecasts for wholesale power cost projections.
• Perform scenario analyses for wholesale power cost projections.
• Analyze economic development incentives for member benefit.
• Provide analytical support for settlements with wholesale supplier.
• Support various corporate planning initiatives and regulatory filings.

Position Summary: Provides a variety of resource planning, load forecasting, and economic analyses to support the work of Central's Corporate Planning and Load Forecasting functions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Senior Load Forecast Analyst on preparation of annual member cooperative load forecasts, coordinates between Load Forecasting, Transmission Planning, and member cooperative engineering staff in preparation of delivery point forecasts.
• Collaborate with Member Services and Transmission Planning to maintain the Prospective Load Forecast.
• Collaborate with Senior Load Forecast Analyst to convert the annual member cooperative load forecast into billing determinant forecasts for wholesale power cost projections.
• Collaborate with Senior Corporate Planner to perform scenario analyses for wholesale power cost projections.
• Provide analysis of cooperative economic development incentives, providing management with an analytical understanding of whether the programs provide benefit to Members.
• Provide analytical support for settlements with wholesale supplier
• Provide analytical support for various corporate planning initiatives.
• Responsible for preparing and submitting various regulatory and informational filings to government agencies.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Strong understanding and experience with managing and analyzing large data sets
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Education And Work Experience
