Job summary

DNAM Brands seeks an experienced E-Commerce Planner to drive direct-to-consumer performance through strategic inventory planning, forecasting, and assortment ownership. This role ensures inventory, sales, and receipt plans align with financial goals and customer demand.

You will own forecasting processes, develop seasonal buys, monitor performance, and partner with Finance, Marketing and E-Commerce teams to optimize revenue and profitability at a family-owned fashion company in Beverly Hills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2 years of merchandise planning, inventory planning or e-commerce planning in retail or fashion.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, inventory management and assortment planning.
  • Strong understanding of inventory productivity, sell-through, gross margin and turnover metrics.
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
  • Experience with planning tools like Prediko, AIMS, Shopify or analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the e-commerce forecasting and inventory planning process.
  • Develop seasonal buy plans, assortment strategies, and receipt plans across categories.
  • Monitor daily/weekly sales, identify risks and opportunities to maximise revenue.
  • Partner with Finance, Marketing, and E-Commerce to align product and financial strategies.
  • Analyse inventory productivity, sell-through, margin, and weeks-on-hand.
  • Develop pricing, promotions and markdown recommendations.
  • Support e-commerce promotional planning and site merchandising alignment.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and seasonal business recaps and forecasts.
  • Identify chase opportunities and coordinate with Buying/Production for deliveries.
  • Communicate trends, risks and opportunities to leadership and cross-functional partners.

Job description

DNAM Brands is a family-owned and operated company that owns and licences a portfolio of globally recognised fashion and lifestyle brands, including Von Dutch, Ed Hardy, Valentino Orlandi, Allbirds, Badgley Mischka, and more. We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Planner to drive the financial performance of our direct-to-consumer business through strategic inventory planning, forecasting, and assortment management ownership.

This role is responsible for ensuring inventory, sales, and receipt plans are aligned with financial goals, customer demand, and overall business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the E-Commerce forecasting and inventory planning process
  • Develop seasonal buy plans, assortment strategies, and receipt plans across product categories
  • Monitor daily and weekly sales performance, identifying risks and opportunities to maximise revenue and profitability
  • Partner with Finance, Marketing, and E-Commerce teams to align product and financial strategies
  • Analyse inventory productivity, sell-through, margin performance, and weeks-on-hand to optimise inventory investments
  • Develop pricing, promotional, and markdown recommendations to support business objectives
  • Support e-commerce promotional planning and ensure alignment between inventory, site merchandising and marketing initiatives
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and seasonal business recaps, forecasts and reporting
  • Identify chase opportunities and partner with Buying and Production teams to ensure inventory availability and timely deliveries
  • Communicate business trends, risks and opportunities to leadership and cross-functional partners
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Finance, Economics or a related field preferred
  • 2 years of merchandise planning, inventory planning, allocation or e-commerce planning experience within retail, apparel or fashion
  • Experience supporting forecasting, inventory management and assortment planning
  • Strong understanding of inventory productivity, sell-through, gross margin and inventory turn metrics
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and reporting functions
  • Experience with planning, ERP or reporting tools such as Prediko, AIMS, Tik Tok Shop, Shopify or Google Analytics preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
