Job summary

Belden is seeking a Warehouse Workflow Planner in Tucson, AZ to manage daily outbound orders using SAP S/4HANA (VL10) and coordinate deliveries. You will review orders, release to warehouse, and ensure on-time shipping with carriers and customers.

You'll prioritize shipments, track order status, and collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize packing, staging, and dispatch, supporting accurate and efficient logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, order fulfillment, or warehouse planning.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP, including outbound delivery and shipment processing.
• Experience using SAP VL10 for delivery creation is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of warehouse picking, packing, staging, and shipping processes.
• Experience coordinating shipments with customers, carriers, and 3PL warehouse providers.
• Understanding of parcel, LTL, FTL, and customer-routed shipping processes preferred.
• Strong planning, prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review daily outbound order requirements and determine releases to the warehouse.
• Prioritize orders based on requested ship dates, customer requirements, carrier schedules, and urgent business needs.
• Maintain visibility of daily warehouse workload and release orders in a controlled manner to support efficient picking and packing.
• Monitor open, pending, urgent, and overdue orders throughout the day.
• Communicate daily priorities, changes, and expedites to the warehouse team.
• Use SAP S/4HANA VL10 to review orders and create outbound deliveries.
• Create and process shipments in SAP based on scheduled and priority orders.
• Release deliveries and shipments to the warehouse for picking and packing.
• Monitor order and delivery status in SAP through shipment readiness.
• Investigate delivery or shipment exceptions and coordinate resolution with appropriate teams.
• Monitor packed orders and coordinate shipment arrangements once freight is ready.
• Coordinate routing and pickup requirements directly with customers for customer-routed shipments.
• Coordinate shipments with assigned parcel, LTL, FTL, or freight carriers, as applicable.
• Arrange carrier bookings or routing requests based on shipment requirements.
• Provide required shipping information and documentation to the warehouse and carrier.
• Follow up on shipment status to support timely dispatch and prevent missed pickups.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Workflow Planner is responsible for planning and controlling the daily flow of outbound orders to the warehouse. This role uses SAP S/4HANA ERP, including VL10, to review eligible orders, create deliveries and shipments, and release work to the warehouse team for picking and packing.

The position monitors daily order requirements, prioritizes releases based on shipping schedules and business needs, and coordinates completed orders with customers, assigned carriers, and the warehouse to support on-time shipment execution.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Warehouse Workflow Planning

• Review daily outbound order requirements and determine which orders should be released to the warehouse.
• Prioritize orders based on requested ship dates, customer requirements, carrier schedules, and urgent business needs.
• Maintain visibility of daily warehouse workload and release orders in a controlled manner to support efficient picking and packing.

• Communicate order priorities, holds, changes, expedites, and special customer requirements.
• Escalate orders at risk of missing shipping commitments or customer requirements.
