Job summary

SGS Consulting in Williamstown, NJ is hiring a Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing, order creation, tracking, and invoice reconciliation in SAP.

You will analyze spend data, inventory levels, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities, collaborate with planning, production, logistics and finance to ensure timely, quality deliveries, and support vendor negotiations and master data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–3 years of supply chain experience in all facets.
• Proficiency in SAP and strong Microsoft Suite/Power BI skills a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with manufacturing or production environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Procurement email traffic and bridge the communication gap with end-users.

• Prepare and present analytical reports on spending, supplier performance, and key procurement metrics.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic sourcing efforts.
