The Planner Buyer is responsible for maintaining 3rd Party suppliers finished goods available on distribution centers and coordinates membrane purchases and delivery to 3rd Party finished goods supplier. Manage 3rd Party products through the complete production cycle, evaluates and analyzes data regarding processes and systems, resolves problems with inventory, supplier schedules, or materials shortages, stock outs and recommends procedures or process to avoid future problems. Also, key responsibilities include communicating and coordinating with suppliers, engineering, product management and sourcing groups to ensure continuous supply of products, avoiding/eliminating stock outs, meeting quality and delivery standards, resolving 3rd Party vendor line-stopping issues, setting up inventory goals and monitoring them, developing action plans and countermeasures with suppliers, maintaining 3rd Party inventory control, supporting the applicable site membrane stock. Responsible for the investigation and resolution of invoices, expedites and COPEs.
This position reports to the Senior Supplier Chain Manager and is part of the Supply Chain Department located in Fajardo facility and will be an on-site role.
