The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Planner 1 (Regional Admin Coordinator) in Monroe, GA to support transportation program management and vehicle operations. Under supervision, you will assist in planning, policy development, data reporting, and coordinating service deliveries across DHS regions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 90 quarter hours, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description (General Summary):Assist in the inspection of 232 state vehicles and 216 county transit (5311) vehicles located throughout the state.Assist with the acquisition of tags for all state-owned vehicles via the Fulton County Tag Office.Assist in assigning all driver check reports received for DHS and DBHDD.Assist in providing PIN numbers for DBHDD and DHS authorized drivers in WEX.Have an overall understanding of Holman Insights, to include creating an updated list of active vehicles for DBHDD and DHS.Viewing last date vehicles have been fueled, confirming if PMs have been completed or when next PM is due for all DBHDD and DHS vehicles.Assist in adding any DBHDD or DHS vehicle accidents into Holman Insights.Assist in the surplus of vehicles for DBHDD and DHS in AssetWorks.Assist with all incoming APD claims for DBHDD and DHS, to include sending the initial email for additional information to the insured driver.Assist in conducting training on vehicle policies, procedures, and systems.Assist in creating information packages and reports for state vehicles and program vehicles used by DBHDD and DHS.Assists in reviewing and drafting policies and trainings for DBHDD, DHS, and DOAS.Assists in the completion of vehicle utilization reports.Participates in OFSS team meetings and assists in providing vehicle updates.Performs other duties as assigned.Role and Responsibilities:Transportation Program ManagementAssists to develop and/or increase transportation options that ensure the availability of accessible, efficient, cost effective, and quality transportation services.Assists in the annual evaluation process that determines consumer and human service provider satisfaction with contractors’ services.Assists in responding to and addressing all program complaints as outlined in the transportation complaint process.Provides applicable training and information to all users and providers of the Coordinated Transportation System in assigned region(s), as necessary, to ensure ongoing compliance with policies and procedures.Transportation Request Information Processing SystemCoordinates and provides training to users as needed and requested.Monitors reports to ensure users are properly utilizing the system.Coordinates with key system users to ensure the monthly invoice process includes all pertinent reports and information to ensure accuracy of invoices.Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of data.Communicates TRIP$ issues to the Regional Transportation Coordinator and the DHS Mobility Manager.Contract ManagementCollects, compiles, and reports data; enters data into available databases from an assortment of input documents.
