Job summary

MacLean Power Systems, headquartered in Fort Mill, SC, is seeking a Material Planner to schedule work centers and manage capacity and materials in our facility.

You will monitor inventory, coordinate with purchasing, use MRP to meet production goals, and maintain accurate documentation while adhering to 5S and safety standards.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 2–4 years' experience; strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Perform work under general supervision.
  • Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possess working knowledge of MRP.
  • Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture the product.
  • Work to resolve materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.
  • May be responsible for working from blueprints to determine the specifications for the parts needed to produce the product.
  • Use MRP systems to manage available capacity, expedites, and service objectives.
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.).
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Summary

Schedules Work Centers in facility based on the capacity of the work center and available raw materials.

Job Duties
