Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Richmond, VA is seeking a Planner responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory. In this role, you will handle everything from sales in excess of invoicing to setting inventory parameters in line with production plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, and proficiency in SAP. The position offers benefits including medical and dental plans and a 401(k).

Job Overview

• End-to-end planning of inventory, including sales in excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice.
• Support internal customer service inquiries daily, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Set inventory parameters and targets, ensuring adequate replenishment through purchase orders aligned with manufacturing plans.
• Define inventory policies based on specified segmentation and analyze potential shortages.
• Collaborate with buyers to optimize supplier performance, including delivery, quality, and lead time management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in material planning, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in SAP MM/PP modules.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Power Query and Power BI is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Inventory Management & Control practices.
