Job summary

Raritan Valley Community College is seeking a Part-Time Work-Study Student Worker for its Planetarium. The role provides general office support, assists with exhibit shows, and helps with public events and school group programs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interact with school groups and public visitors in the exhibit hall and explain exhibits.
• Seat school groups quickly and safely into the theater and sell tickets.
• Sell gift shop items and replenish stock; take and manage reservations.
• Create social media posts for the Planetarium and greet visitors.
• Present star ID programs and operate the 3M Observatory telescope when appropriate.
• Decorate halls for holidays and assist with special events.
