Description

The Host/ess contributes to the success of Planet Hollywood by controlling the flow of Guests within the restaurant. The responsibilities include creating a positive first and last impression for guests and supporting all family members.

Essential Functions
  • Answer phones in a friendly and timely manner and take messages.
  • Greet guests upon arrival and thank them sincerely as they depart.
  • Take, package, and tender To-Go orders.
  • Present accurate bills, collect payments, and follow cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of coupons, cash, promos, vouchers, and credits.
  • Provide guests with detailed information about the restaurant.
  • Keep the arrival area clean and organized throughout the shift.
  • Monitor restaurant flow, including table turnover and guest movement.
  • Work with service staff to reset tables efficiently.
  • Handle accidental spills or breakages promptly.
  • Pre-set flatware and clean menus and inserts.
  • Communicate guest needs to management and staff.
  • Seat guests efficiently and ensure their comfort while waiting.
  • Assist with selling gift cards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and lobby area.
  • Welcome and assist job applicants.
  • Keep walkways inside and outside clear.
  • Assist with locating guests for calls or messages.
  • Thank guests and invite them to return upon departure.
  • Follow the Ten Points of Difference and Guest Standards of Execution as outlined in the Host Workbook.
