BCG Attorney Search in Burbank, CA seeks an experienced Plaintiff-Side Attorney to join our legal team. You will handle personal injury, habitability, or civil litigation matters, based on your background. Expect independent case management, strong research and writing, and client-focused negotiation.

Minimum five years of relevant experience, active CA Bar, and JD required. You will work full-time on-site in the Burbank office, mentoring junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum of five years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in plaintiff-side personal injury, habitability, landlord-tenant law, or civil litigation.
• Ability to independently manage cases from evaluation through resolution.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and case evaluation skills.
• Experience drafting substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
• Ability to work full-time and on-site at the Burbank office.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Evaluate liability, damages, legal issues, and case value to develop strategies.
• Draft and review complaints, pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Handle court appearances, mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations.
• Prepare cases for arbitration or trial when necessary.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy and progress.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, case managers, and support staff.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and staff when appropriate.
