Full Time, 8HR Night Shift, mon - fri 11pm - 7am
The Placement Specialist is responsible for coordinating the efficient and timely placement of patients within a hospital setting. This role ensures optimal utilization of hospital beds while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction. The Specialist works closely with clinical staff, admissions personnel, and hospital administration to facilitate patient flow and manage bed assignments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Works in a clean, well-lighted, heated, and ventilated space. Sits and walks intermittently throughout the day. Position consists of periods of sitting for long periods of time at a desk with computer and telephone work. Must be able to speak, hear, and see. Must be able to orally communicate both by telephone and in person. Will be required to walk, sit, stand, twist, bend, and lift no more than fifteen (15) lbs.
